Fr Terry Watson was born in 1938 in Eastbourne and was educated at Eastbourne Grammar School. In 1961 he graduated from Jesus College Oxford and gained his Masters degree in 1967. He completed his theological training at Chichester Theological College. Fr Terry was made deacon at Chichester Cathedral in 1974, serving his title at Sidley. Subsequently he served his priestly ministry in the parishes of Woodham (Guildford diocese), Willesborough (Canterbury diocese), St Michael’s Maidstone and St James, Clacton-on-Sea (Chelmsford diocese). He retired to Eastbourne in 2000. Fr Terry is married to Jenny. Since joining the team of honorary assistant priests at St Saviours, he has taken a particular interest in the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament and the Guild of All Souls. He has also contributed to a book called Nineteen New Festivals, translating the Latin Propers into English.

Fr Nick MacNeill, married to Dominique, originates from just along the coast at Brighton. After living in France for three years and a period of time in the tourism industry, he was ordained in 1993 and served in the diocese of Exeter for five years. He then served in a country benefice and as a hospice chaplain, before moving to the old market town of Todddington and a lovely little ‘country catholic’ church called Chalgrave. in Bedfordshire.

Unfortunately, due to an accident, he was unable to fulfil his parish duties and had to resign from the benefice last December. The family have just moved to Polegate, though Fr Nick will continue his ministry at St. Saviour’s if the congregation wants him!

Fr Nick likes football, reading, films and used to like gardening. He has just taken up an interest in astronomy. He looks forward to serving Christ at St. Saviour’s and hopes he can be of small use to the life of the church here.

Fr Christopher Hadfield was born in Manchester in 1939 and graduated from Jesus College Cambridge in 1961. He completed his theological training at Wells Theological College and was made deacon in 1965, serving his title in the parish of Wigton with Waverton in the diocese of Carlisle. From 1970 he has taught at Newlands School, Seaford and holds the Bishop’s Licence for the diocese of Chichester.

He has been an honorary assistant priest at St Saviours for nine years and regularly helps out in Seaford parish. Fr Christopher is married to Elizabeth.

Fr. Charles was born in 1938 . Earliest memories include the Blitz in Plymouth where his mother was killed and where his father was an officer in the Royal Marines. Before going to University, He did a year's teaching in a church secondary school then took a degree in anthropology and philosophy at Leeds University in the Hostel of the Resurrection before going on to the College of the Resurrection Mirfield. Ordained in 1961, he started off as a curate in Peckham, south London, for 4 years. He then joined the Mirfield Old Students Mission at Usuthu in the Diocese Zululand and Swaziland. Back to the UK in 1973 to be Vicar of All Saints, Benhilton in Sutton. He then went on to a Team Ministry in Catford as Team Rector where he met and married Linda, who works in publishing. Then to a Team Ministry in Brighton in 1987 and finally ended up as Vicar of Eastbourne Parish Church in Old Town from 1997 to 2008 when he hit the buffers and had to retire!
